By the way, about eating cheese and making a variable called milk, you can eat most cheeses while programming, as long as it's not crumbly, but you can't make a variable called milk because the Scratch Cat will just drink it all, so milk will always be zero no matter what!

True. It worked fine for me. Except the touching block did not work. It seems to be only detecting if it was touching the cheese. Anyways, I did it on 1.4 and it worked better. Then the When Green Flag Clicked block stopped working. Can I put this in All About Scratch? Maybe add more honey on the cheese?

What type of honey works best? I tried manuka honey, and the Scratch Cat said "Yummy!". I think it likes it.
Should we post in Troubleshooting a topic about how Scratch is sensitive to different foods?

I'm not sure. I like the All About Scratch forum better. I think I use SueBee and the scratch cat did not say anything. I think my 'looks' blocks are infected too! o.O

Hmm... I recommend eating cake while programming. It makes your project run faster!

Ooh! I'll try that while I run a program in Turbo-Speed!
EDIT: It worked, except that the Scratch Cat got tired of running super-fast, so it stopped the program.

I have it on good authority that the cake is a lie...

I once ate Ice-Cream while programming, nvm what happened to the computer. XD

Temporary solution to the milk variable problem: Give it a different name, and the Scratch Cat won't think it's milk.
Offline
Temporary. try making a variable called milk, add some honey like this:
(( milk <+> honey ))
Then run in turbo speed. Worked for me. Real fast. My xenotype ran so fast that I can't catch up with it. Then the Syn Logo came in and helped me capture the Xenotype Logo. They were both very exhausted.

The Scratch Cat responds to catnip 50% of the time. Gobo is fond of chocolate but hates Coca-Cola. Pressing Control-W while reading this makes Andresmh appear on your screen, yelling "The power of Scratch compels you!!" over and over.

Thanks for watching out, but, in the future, when you see a link leading to inappropriate content, please use the report link instead - moderators get a notification when a comment is reported and can therefore respond much faster to a forum situation.

I will report this as well as state this... I think this whole topic is just a chat room...

The thread isn't derailed. The topic is food related problems with Scratch.

Ack! Silly me, I actually forgot about that!

It seems adding maple syrup can fix this problem, but don't use sugar! That can cause some serious lag problems in the future

That worked! But add some salt (I did that) and the VM crashed!
Yep.... it does that. But fortunately if you add some pepperoncini that solves the problem.

Blueberry jelly makes the project upload again and again, with a slightly different name. Very effective if you want 5000 pages of projects.

I don't believe that one, sorry.
But I do know that Cheez-its reduce lag.
