I have downloaded the Release Candidate of Scratch 1.4 and have found a possible bug: 1.4 is considerably slower than 1.3. I know that this is likely due to 1.4RC is a BETA version, but please fix this. This is the only bug I have seen so far. Scratch On!

It isn't a beta. It's a release candidate.

From my point of view, Beta and RC (Release Candidate) are the same thing:An incomplete version of something.

My dad recently upgraded the memory, and Scratch is still laggy, but not as much as normal. I think the CPU is the main problem.

Actually, Beta is a work in progress, RC is a possible final outcome.
