Reviews

On Newgrounds They have a review option on projects there. So you could rate it. This is a pretty good idea, a category could be ratings. The only downfall is that if one person gives a project a 10, then the average will go to 10 and it will get front page.

This has been suggested before and the Scratch team said "no" because people might feel bad if the rating is 1-ish.

That is rather a lame excuse. Projects that are 1-ish already don't get much attention. Or you would also have to explain why it is 1-ish.

A person can abuse such a system by making another account and then rating his/her project a 10, or such a rating system can be abused in which a person may give a project a low rating because of some vendetta against the user, not for the quality of the project itself.

still, they could make it so the same Ip address couldn't rate it twice, i like the idea, and those who abuse it could still have their comments flagged.  i dont think scratchers really tend to have malicious intentions, it's a pretty good community
