The poison will kill you in 5 minutes. Go left to a known town, or right to a town you think is closer.

You discover that the town has overflowing sewage, and hurriedly look for a doctor. Fortunately, there are many around because of the large quantity of people getting sick. You are cured of the poison from earlier, and then leave.
Now, you have a choice: Go straight ahead into a forest, or right to walk into an apple orchard.
