Problems, to say it at least.

Hello.

I am having problems. Scratch's music blocks are otherwise superb. What I am not liking is how I have to go through a complex and time-consuming process to make imported music loop. But not only this... I also have to: stop it so that I can have new music play once that music doesn't fit the scene given anymore... And I also want to: make some of the music gradually increase volume from zero volume as the music plays.

Is it possible to do these three things? Please state your best answers and I will give you creds if you can solve this.

Scratch on!  big_smile

(Sorry if this isn't advanced... but I think it is so...)

Simply use a 'repeat' block, with the 'play sound --- until done' block inside it.

But not only this... I also have to: stop it so that I can have new music play once that music doesn't fit the scene given anymore...

When the music doesn't fit the scene anymore, use the 'stop all sound' block, followed by the 'play sound ---' block that will play the sound you select.

And I also want to: make some of the music gradually increase volume from zero volume as the music plays.

Use the 'set volume to ---%' block, and have it set to 0%. Use succeeding blocks (the 'change volume by ---' block) to increase the volume.

Hope these answers help  smile

Also heres a tip for your project. If you have any music editing block like set sound to Whatever% then it wont work on the Scratch Website because Java doesn't alow any sound editing
