OLPC (XO laptop) version coming?
Not sure where to place this question, but I figure that Educators is appropriate 
On the olpc wiki, it says that there is work being done by the scratch team to port it to the XO Laptop. Could you give some details of this work? The laptop already has squeak, so I guess the main work is being done on the interface?
Anyway, this is just a request for an update.
As a feature wish, please keep the Scratch environment for the OLPC fun and collorfull as the desktop one is!

Thanks for the interest. Yes, a version for the XO is on the works. You are right, the main challenge is the UI. Some compromises will have to be made. Also, this is pushing the development of full unicode support which seems to be a big endeavor. I think early 2008 is the expected release date for some of these updates.
