Some people leave comments weird, and with words spelled wrong. They might feel guilty. For an example: "HELLO! H0SWA ARE YO9H?" They might want to delete that comment or edit it. If you could not read the thing in quotations, here it is: "Hello! How are you?" Some comments are left saying: "I love you (name)!" That might be embarrassing to the scratch user that said it. They should have the chance to edit in delete.

Thanks goodness for the edit option on the forum post, now I see EXACTLY what you mean (before I thought that you were talking about the forums). Usually when I decided I don't like a comment on a project, I just delete it, and add my edited comment again. But it would definitely be more convenient if you could just edit a comment like you suggested.

I think he is talking about when you comment on projects.

I'm pretty sure you already can! All you have to do is return to YOUR post, and it should be one of the options, along with the quote and flag links.
I believe Nokrepkie is referring to project comments, not forum comments.
I think that was suggested before a while back. It would be nice to edit my project comments, as some of them have silly typos.

You can delete comments, but not edit them. There's a little x next to the comment that will delete the comment if you click on it.

But then couldn't "Bad" Scratchers use this as a way to comment inapropriately? They could say something bad edit it or even erase it. Though it would be useful for those who treat it right.

I guess a log could be kept of previous versions of comments.
