How about a smaller scratch program for creating screensavers?
The idea is the same as scratch except all blocks involving the interaction of the user are eliminated. The green flag is replaced by a new Blue Flag trigger, which symbolizes the screensaver turning on. There's also a "looks" option for backgrounds: Set background to current desktop. When you're done, just export the screensaver and you can use it as your own, and/or share it online.
This offers a nice alternative to expensive screensaver creation programs.

And screen saveers can get done with that - I got it running so I could put on on my system.
Might want to find that thread there was a lot of good advice. Never could quite get it bundled right to run everything from a local directory so never was able to get something shareable.
