Chapter 1

So much Chaos, so much Control



Sonic opened his eyes and saw himself in an unknown place. He looked down, and saw himself standing on a circular area with a portrait/shrine of the chaos emeralds with the Master Emerald on the ground. He then walked foward and nine trapezoid stones surronded him. The emeralds placed themselves in a flash on the stones, with one empty stone infront of him. Sonic jumped on the stone and looked foward, next thing he knew he was on Mobius. Knuckles was looking at the Master Emerald, arms folded. Sonic slowly walked towards him nervous, heart pounding, palms sweating in his golves. "Knuck... Knuckles?"


There was no response from the Echidna, only blinking. Sonic felt ignored and said the name again. "Knuckles..." no response again. "Knuckles!" After the third time of no response, Sonic started to shake the Guardian. "KNUCKLES!!!" Sonic then realized something, His hands faded through Knuckles, like he was a ghost. Sonic then ran towards the Master Emerald and heard a glowing sound.

Sonic was back in the circular area. It started to shake, more and more. Each time was harder, and louder until finally SNAP!!! The area broke apart and tore from Sonic, who felt light as a feather. "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Sonic then looked around he was in a snowy field, with a glowing dark, purple, emerald in front of him. Next thing he knew, Shadow rose from the ground and grabbed the emerald. "Hmph..." Shadow then grabbed Sonic by the arm, then a black strip of goo flew from Shadow's chest and hit Sonic's chest, then more strips of goo, over a dozen grabbed Sonic, as Shadow slowly turned into a mutant hedgehog. Shadow then opened his gooey mouth, sharp teeth over Sonic.

Sonic then spindashed from a tree hitting everything in sight. He kept breathing heavily and rapidly straight for minutes. "It was... just a dream?" He then walked further and realized he was on top of a long hill. A beautiful scenery of Mobius could be seen as Sonic ran down the hill at full speed, in order to avoid his weight and velocity to catch up to gravity and tumble to the ground.

SCREECH!!! Sonic then stopped himself as soon as he got back to the grassy ground. He then hopped from tree to tree. By the time he stopped, he was infront of his house. "Was it real?"
"HO HO HO HO HO!!!" Eggman said like an evil santa. Flying down in his hovering vehicle with lasers strapped on and capsule on the top next to the glass protecting Eggman.

"Eggman, I'm not in the mood!" Sonic yelled. He started to run around Eggman in a circle, faster and faster. Eggman tried to trace Sonic, but ended up being dizzy. Sonic formed a tornado created from pure speed and wind. The vehicle rose into Mid-air as Sonic kept running. SYNCHE... SHAM! Sonic used a fully charged Spin Attack and striked hard in Eggman's machine! "Grrr.... HOW ABOUT THIS?!?!?!?!" Eggman then grabbed Sonic with a mechanical tentacle straight from the vehicle. Sonic felt powerless for a second as he was covered with a dozen tentacles, then he realized that this moment was almost exactly from his dream!

"Eggman if you were smart, lemme go... now!" Sonic's eyes turned red, his voice sinsiter, his fur turning black. "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!" Sonic then broke free from the tentacles.
