Text?

How to you type in 2 texts? Like for ex. I try to type the word squash and it works but when I type baseball it contuines squash and doesn't open up as a new text spot. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks an advance,

Re: Text?

no, in scratch you can't do this without using two sprites

Dear Scratch Users,
I'm done with scratch, or at least making projects. I have made one last big game, thats both fun and teaches a lesson about water. It'd mean a lot if you gave me feedback.                              http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/bosox397/569201

Re: Text?

In the same sprite costume, you CANNOT have more than one type of text

Re: Text?

Okay...here is a tricky way around it.  Make your sprite and type in the first piece of text.  Now, make sure your sprite is showing against a nice blank background and then right-click on the stage and select the "grap screen region as new sprite" option and use the mouse to select the image of your sprite.  Now you have a brand-new sprite that includes the first piece of text as part of the sprite.  So you can now edit the new sprite and use the text tool to define the next piece of text...and so on!

A much simpler way is just to use another image editor to make your sprite...a program like Paint.net for instance  smile
