Scratch

hey its briunj04
i saw this curator thing and kind of wanted to try it out
i mainly like good animation movies or innovative games so i would probably post those
oh yeah and things that deserve more views (like the one in my gallery)

I would like to be a curator because I think that it's important to give credit to those projects who may not necesarily be viewed due to age of the project or popularity of the maker. I would feature those projects rightly and would not abuse my authority. I would make sure to be fair and and pick thought provoking projects that deserve a chance. I seriously feel I am the right choice and feel that I can take on the responsiblity and sacrifices that come with this job. I am avilable to the internet almost 24/7 and reallly want this job. I am honest, fair, and have a great eye for hard work. I was elected by my classmates for most responsible, hardest worker and much more. Can I be one?

I would like to become a curator. Currently I am interested in gadgets, as in my Pathdrawer.
Games like Slimy 3 by penguin1556 and XP adventure by axu are projects that deserve attention.

I figured I'd give it(trying out for curator) a shot. I would probably be looking for projects that display graphical excellence, .such as using blender to pre-render images, or using GIMP to create/edit photographs, and importing them into scratch. But not only excellence in graphics but also in the use of those graphics. Innovation in difficult areas of programming, exploring new concepts and work arounds, would all be taken into effect. I strive to always be positive with me feedback, or remain silent.

As for experience: I have been around the scratch community for a little over a year now and am heavily involved with blender, a 3D design and animation program.(that explains my obsession with graphics design and desire to see superior programming). Over time, I have realized more and more  how absolutely amazing it is to see what people can do with such a "simple" programming language. Despite this simplicity, it always leaves you wanting more.

I would enjoy being a curator because I feel that too many people only look at certain popular people's projects, and some are really funny, but will anyone ever know? Does that make her crazy is a funny project but only has about 20 views and 5 different commentors, that's sad, I'd like to change that, "Don't read this" is a project I've already made about discussing this problem, but how many people read it?

There's some real talent on scratch, but no one will ever notice.

Id like to be one because I have a taste in great art and not just some sloppy animation.I would pick peoples projects that they actually had spent real time on.I realize that some people are popular because of their artwork,but they could probably have done it by being nice and making lots of 5-minute random projects that look good but arent very original.I want to reach out and help more scratchers get popular and more known. <set{popularity}to(more)

I have a question, will they announce the new curator when he/she is selected, or will we have to go digging around ourselves?

I would love to become a Curator!
If I become a curator I would discover all the undiscovered greats. What I mean by that is that I will Favorite projects that not only are great but are by members of the scratch community that have not even gotten close to the limelight.I will also chose projects that are only original, have less than 5 love it's and older than 3 days. So it will be a basic Featured Curator role if I get chosen. The projects I will chose will range from Simple to complex, Artistic to creative, and in general Scratchalicious (Scratch wonderful!). I will also make forum posts giving helpful tips to scratchers to help them be favorited. Thank you and I hope I get chosen!

I think doodys good at the photoshop drawings because they look so good
