I would like to be a curator. As a curator I would select projects that are just generally well done, but mostly favoring towards projects that use a lot of variables and operators, because those tend to be more advanced, along with projects that create music. I enjoy watching the Example projects because I think that those are an example of the type of projects that should be curated.  I also would pick a lot of projects that use Scratch PicoBoards and WeDo's. Those are rarely seen on Scratch. I know that picking projects by New Scratchers is a good idea in heart, but lets face it, most new scratchers are just that- new, lacking more depth. However, I have seen 3D renderings loaded in Scratch by New Scratchers. Back to the curating, I also would pick projects made in Blender or other things like that. I am on Scratch every day, I have never gotten banned, never gotten an admin message, and I know that Scratch is for all ages, cultures and religions.  Well, I hope I will be a serious canidate in curator selection.

Hmm... A curator seems like a big responsibility. I have now been on Scratch for I think about two years now. I was around when the curating began (Though I did not have an account). Since then I have wanted to be a curator, though that doesn't sound much different then the other one-thousand applicants. I realize that the Scratch Team want's a curator that will choose projects the community would appreciate. I believe that right now people want good animations, and games based on what I have seen. I will not choose projects now, but rather stage a contest where people can enter their animations, and I might choose them. I don't know if this is the way the Scratch Team would like me to do it. And I can change the way I select projects. There would be rules to entering the contest, like, you must have had an account for a month, the projects must have less than 100 views, etc. Now let's get to the checklist.

I believe that I check out. Also, I have been curated. So I know how I would want it done. And an example of something I would curate, is Music Visualizer. If there is anything I have missed please inform me. Also, the Scratch Team wants a wide variety of Scratchers. They want gamers, storytellers, animators, boys, and girls. I post projects often, create awesome (or so I think...    ) projects and am a great member in the community.

i would like to join, i've seen some projects with like 17 views that are awsome

I would like to be curator because I really want some of my friend's projects on the front page. Plus, it would get people interested in my stuff and there stuff too. I love Scratch and I've wanted to be a curator for a long time. It would mean a lot if I were curator. Thanks!<move(  )steps>

I think i can choose some good projects that deserve to be on the front page (i have made a couple newspapers on scratch with different projects) and i would love to allow the scratchers a chance. I would pick all different types, im not really picky about the projects i choose.

Actualy it means you can choose projects to be posted on the front page. Most regular shifts are 3 days to a week.
