really i'm quite new but i know that i like games witha star trek theme or funny vidoes and i can see that someone has worked hard on a project, in fact, i love videoes and short films so much i've created the' film lovers gallery' that anyone can contribute to. Can I be a curator? I'll pick the projects that have been put forth effort and deserve to be front paged like games or movies or animation???

okay, if you pick me to be curator, i'll pick projects that:
have tons of effort and has less than the views that i expected it to have.
creative
deserves to be front paged.
If remixed then has lots of changes and has credit to original

Examples of projects that seem like they deserve front page.
maximanz-the apple part 1 and 2
t0fu-Rooms concept

I won't pick projects that:
have already been front paged
took less than a minute to make
very low effort
made by people known already to lots of people

Examples of projects NOT going to be curated by me
All of the well known ppl's projects
and that's about it

BACKGROUND OF ME:
Joined on march 2011
got kind of popular
known to be nice as some ppl (like The-James-Man in a reply to me in the comments on this project:(link to project)) say
Likes funny stuff and jokes around a lot (except serious stuff)
uses scratch as a hobby and enjoy every bit of it.
hadn't posted a project until june 03,2011 tongue
Surprisingly got pretty popular
been top viewed ONCE
not a teen yet.
Likes basketball very much
Go on scratch.mit.edu almost everyday nowadays

normally the curator is someone who is pretty experienced with scratch and writes a lengthy reason explaining why they should be curator, and no offense but your reason was 1 sentence.

I would like to be the Curator because i wanna get More New Members to Scratch to learn with some Great Games,i would mostly Pick Dragon Ball Related Games,and other Sorts of Games,i would also like to show people some cool Animations on Scratch,I want to make The Scratchers that are not Gamers,into Gamers,so i would mostly pick out Games,and i see a lot of people spamming other Projects in the Comments about their new Project,i would choose their Projects so they won't spam Anymore.

This is parcheesidude, and I would like to become Curator.
I would pick projects that are innovative with new script ways to do things. I would also pick games if they had good graphics and a good thought out plot and theme.

Some reasons that I think I would be good to apply are:
I downloaded Scratch in 2006 even before ScratchR.
I only love/favorite things that are really good(I think so anyway).
I have over 100 projects.
I was accepted to have an account on the Scratch Wiki.
I have gotten 5 of my friends to join Scratch.
I am on Scratch every day.

If I do not get picked(which is likely), I nominate poemon1(I do not know him personally, that is not how I based my desicion).

I don't want to be a curator because I don't go on scratch often enough to appreciate the hard work people put in, I mainly lurk around the forums, so please don't pick me.

I never look at the projects really, unless they are featured. This means I don't ever find new and interesting projects, unless they're from my interesting friends.

I am posting this for all those people that: don't want to be curator, don't deserve to be curator, or people that are just plain spammers.
