I'd like to be a curator. I would choose all the projects that deserve to have more views, but never got that lucky chance.
Things about projects that curators put on that I would like:
-Good programming
-Decent-Good graphics
-Creative idea
-Music that fits the project (though there doesn't NEED to be music)
Things about projects that curators put on that I would NOT like:
-Art projects (we have WAY too many of those on frontpage, no one really NEEDS to see many more.
-Platformers with a really BAD physics engine. (check out beanbug's lionquest engine, it's really good)
-Ideas that other people have had before them and made a better project before them about that same idea.

Oooh, I'd love to be one. I think it's a great idea to let people show they're favorites on the front page by becoming a curator.

Dear Scratch Team,
Please read this. I think the idea of the curator is good because it gets the name out of the curator and what projects he/she likes and would like to produce with scratch. I have been on scratch since the version 1.0 came out. I have some projects that are good, but arn't beeing viewed. I would like to become a scratch curator because I have been nice to all members on scratch. I'm not popular on scratch and nor do I care to be. I want everyone to be counted in on scratch. I think I have been a good example to everyone in the scratch community. Thank you and Scratch On!

I think i would choose english projects and projects in different languages because they enever get much attention, I would also pick simple yet intellegent and entertaining games and animations that are not so famous.

Dear Scratch Team,
I wanna be a Curator on the Scratch Homepage because I would really like to show all the different types of projects out there. I would search for projects that are very good but haven't been noticed by other Scratchers. This will give a chance to someone who maybe put there project up at the wrong time. Other projects I would be looking for would be one that involve gravity and the law of physics or deals with engineering. Once again i would really like to become a Curator on the Scratch Homepage.

Being a curator would be AWESOME! I always have wanted to decide what projects would be on the front page. Being Scratch Curator would be cool. I hope I get chosen!

I logged on to scratch one day and I happend to notice this, Its a really good idea aswell as the My Friends Latest projects which is really handy because I used to have to go into the users my stuff to see there new projects. Now you can just see the new projects
I would really like to be Scratch Curator, but there are so many people on scratch I only have a 1 in 325,111* chance of being one Maybe someday I might be lucky and be the Curator.

I'm just wondering, but who are these random people who just post something like "I would love to be a curator" and use a bunch of fake modesty, not mentioning any names *cough* and then when I look at their post count it's like their first post?
And why was curator cat ignorzed

Lots of Scratchers have told us they want to show their favorite projects on the Scratch homepage. So we created a new role called "Scratch curator."

I'm not one to complain, but it doesn't seem fair that the people that were just chosen by the curator are pushed off the front page when a new curator is chosen (no offense to any curator.).
TimeFreeze, Bubble-07, and I all had this happen to us, and I'm sure people chosen by previous curators have been affected too.
I know that it was at least TimeFreeze and I's first time on the front page, and we were both on for ~1 hour.
I do not represent how TimeFreeze feels, so if I get in trouble for this I don't want anyone else being affected.
Please take into consideration my suggestion: Curators should choose new projects at intervals that correspond to the amount of time they are curator, so no one is left out.

I would like to be a curator, why you may ask ,well i think being a curator would be fun and great! I would like to show those projects that are good but have not yet been seen which happens to many people working with scratch! I will not pick my games at all because that would be unfair to other people waiting to promote their games i will take some requests but they must be very good games that haven't been seen because all the cat games and stuff are getting on my nerves we need change and we need it now so if you think i would be appripriate for this occupation! Please just say 123 to support scratch1games!

Hmm, I can see your point. Right now we haven't set an exact time for the switch to the new curator to happen, so it's hard for the current curator to know exactly when their shift will end. So in the future, perhaps we'll set a more exact time for the switch to occur. That way the curator can choose when to add their last few projects, and make sure there is enough time left for them to be seen.
Thanks for your feedback!

I would appreciate being a curator, and I'll try to find the best of unknown projects. And since I'm from Poland, I could present the community of Polish scratchers. Of course, I won't respond to bribery. I like puzzle games, simulations and interactive art, culture-presenting projects, programs and math-based projects.
