I am interested in games and art, mostly when they have lots of scripts, or 1 crammed script.
That sentence, means like challenging to create projects that are games or art. That's what I would curate.
I even got a gallery full of projects to curate.

So we can ignore this?
There has only been 45 curators so far, it's hard to get picked.
It's better to ask once every two months or so, rather than every week.

When applying to be curator, it's good to give some thought to the kind of projects you'd like to show. "Cool projects that most people have never seen!" is a nice idea, but it doesn't really give us a good sense of what you like and why. We want to know what makes a project interesting to you.
Try viewing the projects in your favorites, and see if you can find a theme that describes them. Talk about that theme in your post on this thread, and consider providing a few links to good examples of that theme.
For example, I really like projects that use sound input from the microphone to draw interesting designs on the screen. Here's an example of one that I recently added to my favorites: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/MitFan/874786
Don't forget this everyone

Maybe can I be a curator? I would choose projects that i find myself looking at/playing
and not alot of people viewed them. I would make sure to choose projects I think people would like. I would choose projects that are funny, some complicated projects and some simple but good. (I am good at making simple but good projects.) Like OS'S and some just cool projects.

i really want to be a curator

Hi, i would like to be curator. I feel i would be a good curator because i would choose projects which appeal to me, such as animations, OS's and games. I would make sure i choose good projects made by relatively unknown scratchers. I would be fair, and not pick people in my friends list, just because they are my friends. I would make sure i choose projects which have few views, and have a seemingly good concept. I would choose projects that work well online, and make sure everyone has a fair go! I want to be curator to let the front page be diverse!
Thanks, SSSS

Well, I'd like to be a curator, not only because I'd like to show some light on projects never before seen, (almost), but because I'm a huge gamer. I want to curate projects that really have some time put into them, not those animations and jokes and all that that clogs up (no offense, some of these are actually REALLY funny) the front page. I remember when I first started, that there were tons of good games on the front page. I want to bring back that golden age of scratch, ( For me) So, I really would curate these kind of projects: Projects with lots of thought and time put into them, something that I actually interact with; not just a dancing chipmunk in a banana suit or whatever. Like this one by Isak in my favorites: Lava Man. Or Straw-Hat by nimai111: Link.
Thanks, I really hope you choose me as a curator!

Hi! I would love to be a curator, mainly because when I first started scratching, no one looked at my games. I asked 08jackt if he would look at it to see if it was good, and he loved it. After he favorited it, it got lots of views, but I realized something, not everyone will have that chance. When I heard about curators, I thought of what kind I would like to be! If i am chosen, I will look for good games, specifically retro looking games that have either not received as much credit as the scratcher deserved, or have not been seen by other scratchers at all. I would look for the people who have the potential to be great, but just don't have the fame. Its true that allot of famous scratchers are the best or among the best, but if we don't look at the little peoples projects well never see diversity in the scratch community. this is why I think I would make the best choice for the next curator on scratch. I could make the unseen seen, and bring a new sense of diversity to scratchers all around the world, inspiring them, giving them hope for their projects, and ultimately making the little guy as equal to the legends.

Awesome! This is why I love Scratch. If I was a Curator, I would choose good animations of all styles. Animations are good, and you don't have to worry about it being to hard when you play or test it. Thanks!

When am I going to be a curator, or am I not going to be? How do I know when this post was replied to?

I would like to become a Scratch curator. I like Scratches that speak out against smoking, alcohol and other drugs because they encourage fellow Scratchers to share the Scratches with other Scratchers, so the world can become a better place.

The Scratch Team emails you when you have been chosen.
Here's a more detailed post to explain. This is written by emilypie.

You usually get picked like, 2 or 3 months before you are going to be curator, and you get a messages asking you if you are still interested in being curator if the Scratch Team decides to pick you. If you get the message, you will be asked to respond using the 'contact us' link. Then, the Scratch team will email you back, giving you the date you will be curator, and when you will finish. You respond saying if it's ok or not, and, if it is, your all set to be curator whenever the date said.
There, a full explanation. I hope your not confused anymore.

Hiya Scratch Team! I would love to have the opportunity to be a Scratch curator and devote myself in choosing the well-done yet hardly-known projects. With all my effort, I will curate projects with excellent platformers and interesting yet glitchless scripting and plots as well a interesting simulations where users could interact and render the sprites around and view with awe. For instance, one of my favorite projects is Standish123's project, called Circle Guy's Adventure; I love how he has the multiple presents that the sprite has to collect, making the platform original compared to the common platforms. I would also like to promote projects that have incredible graphics as Standish123's project has.
Furthermore, if I was a curator, I would choose unique yet simple simulations that most people wouldn't think of. For example, another favorite of mine is Silvester's Simulation. I enjoy how this user creates a project based on fireworks with creative easy scripting and entertaining to view with, such as the multiple changing colors of the randomly chosen expanding and diminishing looks, which adds a nice effect to the creative concept.
Thank you for your time and consideration!!
