scratch 1.2.1 vs 1.3.1. my view as an elementary school teacher

First of all I want to congratulate the Scratch team for such an outstanding program.
I work with 30+ kids at the same time (30 groups in a week 1 -6th grades) , we had been using version121 for a year, when the new Scratch 131 appeared I was soon to change it.   But decided to go back to 121.  Why?  Well on the new one I could not see from a first and fast view if the kids had a script for each sprite.  Which can be done with the old one. Trying to teach 30 at the same time in just 45 min. classes has taught me there is no time to waste when I'm checking their work.

My question?  Is there a reason why the sprite doesn't show if it has a script, but it shows how many costumes.  I can see both with the 1.2.1 version.

Thanks.

They changed that with 1.3 - don't ask me why. I believe they have neither in 1.4, though I'm not sure.

1.4 has tons of new features, I have heard that they let out a beta on Scratch Day but that was the only time... But back on subject, I have noticed that too but that would be nice to have back, but 1.3.1 does have more blocks! I loooovvve blocks.  big_smile   wink
