Whenever I try to download something, it usally takes forever just to open up the "Save to..." box! Especcially when a project has music! It's really annoying, since i'm looking for a game to put in my Scratch Computer i'm making. Could you help? BTW it doesn't take forever anywhere else, so if the projects can be downloaded from a diffrent site, please tell me where I could find it.

That's a very odd problem...
Try this: Go to the project URL and add "/download" to the end of the project URL. Then hit 'Enter'. It should automatically prompt you to save the project.

Is this a problem that just started or something that has been going on for a while?
Things that could be causing it:
1. Slow server response
2. Slow computer response (are you running virus scans or maybe your computer is
running too many applications at once?)
3. Slow internet connection
Have you tried rebooting your computer? That might help if the problem is related to your computer. But if your other applications are working well, it's probably the server or the internet connection. Maybe try again later and see if it works any better.

It's been going on ever since I started downloading stuff here. Nothings been running in the backround and my internet connection is fine. I'll try what cheddargirl said.

Still didn't work. I don't know what could be wrong. I've even tried downloading when very few people are on the site like at night, but it still doesn't help. I could wait 5 minutes before it can actually start to download, but that would take too long for me.

Heheh, if five minutes is too long, you don't have my computer. It takes about half an hour to even start the computer up - and if anything, that's an understatement.

Have you tried downloading from the same browser each time, or have you tried different browsers?

I don't have any other browsers on my computer. The browser I'm using is IE6

Ah, IE is a browser that requires a large amount of memory to run, and downloading things just requires more memory usage, so there is usually a download lag time involved. I get download issues, too, if I use IE (mine sometimes even causes the computer to freeze!).
You'll probably want to switch to a browser that uses less memory.
- Mozilla Firefox is usually the best way to go here, as everyone has said before.
- Flock (a browser built on Firefox's codebase) is also pretty good and has other nice features; it runs just like Firefox.
- Opera requires the least amount of memory, and, from personal experience, it's pretty fast, and also has some pretty cool features; I usually use it when I'm in a hurry. It kind of tends to be a bit buggy when browsing websites, however.
