Saving

There is something wrong with the saving. It either won't save or instead, it took the variables from the project I try to overwrite.

Are you deleting variables and then seeing them pop back into existence?  I see that all the time...it means I still have a script somewhere that is referencing those variables.

No, whenever I tried saving over another project, the project that is being overwritten saves but gives me the variables it had.
