I think there's lag with Scratch 1.3.1 on a Mac because there's a bug where I think there's no pool when auto-releasing and the CPU is on max.
Here's some console logs:
5/2/09 9:17:52 AM Scratch[553] *** _NSAutoreleaseNoPool(): Object 0x109ce0 of class NSCFString autoreleased with no pool in place - just leaking Stack: (0x9536873f 0x95274e32 0x9527d6ae 0x952991da 0x9529c13b 0x952752da 0x9529c0be 0x36c22) 5/2/09 9:17:52 AM Scratch[553] *** _NSAutoreleaseNoPool(): Object 0x10aa80 of class NSPathStore2 autoreleased with no pool in place - just leaking Stack: (0x9536873f 0x95276037 0x95275139 0x9527505a 0x952991f8 0x9529c13b 0x952752da 0x9529c0be 0x36c22) 5/2/09 9:17:52 AM Scratch[553] *** _NSAutoreleaseNoPool(): Object 0x10ac30 of class NSPathStore2 autoreleased with no pool in place - just leaking Stack: (0x9536873f 0x95276037 0x9529c101 0x36c22) 5/2/09 9:17:52 AM Scratch[553] *** _NSAutoreleaseNoPool(): Object 0x121a90 of class NSPathStore2 autoreleased with no pool in place - just leaking Stack: (0x9536873f 0x95276037 0x9529c101 0x37804 0x7bf9)
And if that's not causing the lag, what IS causing it?
