We will be adding a feature that lets you remove galleries from your MyStuff page. Thanks for the feedback. For those who don't like the new system please say why you don't like it and how can we fix it. Thanks and Scratch on!

Is there still a way to "unsubscribe"?
There is no such thing as subscribe anymore. If one of your projects gets added to a gallery, the gallery gets automatically listed on your MyStuff page. We should be adding a way to delete galleries from your MyStuff. It's coming.

I love it, this is the best

Okay, it got better now that you can remove galleries. But it's still kind of frustrating. When u delete a gallery from ur my stuff page, you have to wait for it to be deleted and also wait for the page to reload. Also, I think that we should be able to suscribe to galleries. That way, if a gallery owner wants to send out gallery invitations, he/she wouldn't have to befreind everybody. Another thing that people may disagree with is that I don't want people to have the power of adding someone else's project to their gallery. When u go to a project, you can click a tab that syas something like, add to gallery. I think that you guys should remove the block because anybody can take a project from another Scratch member and put it into their gallery. I think that the owner of projects should be the only one to add his/her projects to a gallery.

Scratch guy, or operators, or leaders, or...never mind. This is what I also think you guys should do about the gallery system. Whenever somebody deletes a gallery from the my stuff page, a little icon should appear that gives the person who's deleting the gallery options of either removing all his/her projects from that gallery or leaving them all in. This way, you wouldn't have to look at what projects of your's are in the gallery. You can just hit a button that removes all ur projects from a selected gallery. It'll just make things faster and a little less stressful. Thnks Scratch people!

I know this doesn't have to do with the gallery system but, why doesn't my gif icon change when I update it? I've updated it several time in the past week and it hasn't changed! Just wondering if u guys could fix or find out what the problem is. Thnks again.

Unlike some others here, I think that gallery owners should be able to add and remove projects from galleries. The point of a gallery is to be a collection of related projects. There isn't much need for galleries that have only one person's work in them---one can just go to that person's "my stuff" page.
By allowing the gallery owner to control what goes into the gallery, it becomes a bit like a magazine. People visit the gallery knowing that it will contain projects that are on-topic and of quality sufficient for the owner of the gallery to have kept them.
It would be nice to have control over a list of authorized posters to a gallery (for school groups and clubs), but even as it is the new system should make galleries a much more useful tool for finding interesting projects.

I like that galleries are about groups of projects not groups people. The new gallery system lets people add other people's project as a way of saying "hey, I like you project I think it should be displayed in this gallery".
You can of course, say "I don't want to be on your gallery" by simply going to the gallery page and remove your project from there.
I don't see the point of inviting someone to a gallery without a having a project that makes you connected to that gallery. I think you are hinting at the need of having groups. That would be groups of people like in Facebook that are there to talk about some topic. I am not sure if this is the goal of Scratch given that other websites do it better (i.e. Facebook) but I will consider it.

Maybe we should add an option that lets people locked so only the project owner can add projects to a gallery.
