Learning Java

Since Scratch is based on Java, I thought that there might be some users out there who would be interested in learing programming in Java as well (although admitedly Flash is really taking over for internet games etc.)

This is a great program for learning Java, and has an interface very similar to that of Scratch (except with actual typed code).

(It also looks as though they may have gotten their tagline from Scratch---lol  tongue )

From what I saw the greenfoot program it does not use written code but rather has a game maker approach to programming.
