How do you request a feature?

My friend made a realy great project that I think should be featured. I have heard that you can request a feature from him. I do not know however how to do this. So, how do you request a feature?

The featured section is for projects that the scratch team thinks are good. But if you want the scratch team to consider featuring it, you can suggest it here: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=7339

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
