I was thinking for a while and I still don't know. Why is Easter called Easter? In Poland we call it Wielkanoc which means The Great Night. It's because Jesus died and then came back to life. Easter seems to do something with East, but why? What do you celebrate on easter?

You were right. It was on wikipedia. Easter comes from german and means The month of April.
Another thing is that Wielkanoc Bunny as you wrote is called just zajączek wielkanocny.

What do you mean? Easter is always on Sunday, right? (I wouldn't know, I'm not christian).

They are eager about the month of April.
What sucks about Easter this year is that we don't get the day off on it.
I know the feeling i worked today... it was pretty bad.

ok... my Opa told me what easter is about. Easter means Fertility (however you spell it). which is why there is an easter rabbit, because rabbits multiply like crazy. and there is, of course, the easter egg.
