You either have to have a lot of friends that can view your project or your project must be really well made.

SCRATCH projects seem to play somewhat different when uploaded to the website; that is, while it may play fine on the computer, on the website, it can play slower, it can execute certain scripts at different times, or there even could be an online bug that affects the way it looks and operates.

As for projects, obviously you can utilize the Show and Tell forums here, but I think the most effective way to get more attention would include going to other people's projects and commenting on theirs; some creators becomes curious would go to the userpage of those who have commented on their projects, and may respond on another project in return (but do keep in mind that when I mean commenting on another project to get attention, I don't mean typing in "hey can you check out my project?". That comes across as rude).

I find that with any web community, the best option is to become active in the community somehow. The more active you are, the more people will become interested in what you have to offer.

Hope my advice helps  big_smile

Re: how to make a scratch project well known.

Just by posting this thread about your project it has gotten more views.  That's a good start.

As for working differently on the web, I have noticed that myself with my latest project, ScratchJack.  It turned out that there were timing issues on the web site where the scripts were running faster on my local computer than on the web site.

What types of issues are you seeing?
