Re: Wizard Academy Forum Game

Shade shoots a ball of darkness at Palandir just as Palandir shoots a bolt of light at Shade. The two spells collide creating a large explosion of grey energy. Shade and Palandir are knocked back on to the bleachers and the grass around the area is destroyed and where dirt was, is now covered in grass and other plant life. Shade thins to himself "The Powers of Creation and the Powers of Destruction bring a power not known to men." It was a qoute his father had said to him right before he died, protecting Shade.

Re: Wizard Academy Forum Game

Furore shoots one charred, black piece of parchment back. "Don't think I won't win next time around, I couldnt play this year because I'm a junior mage. But next year, watch out!"

As in, the combination of the good and bad spells reversed everything.  The grass that had been there died, but grass then grew where it had not been before.

It's not quite over, there are still some other events in the games.  Target practice, speed rune-carving, etc.

(The speed rune-carving would probably be something like creating the most powerful effect with the fewest runes, or something.)

Re: Wizard Academy Forum Game

What if we had Magical Cooking! Using spells (like fire spells to grill it, water spells to boil the food) to cook food! (Sorry, it's just I love to cook!)

Re: Wizard Academy Forum Game

At the rune-carving event, Palandir wins a prize for the biggest effect.  He writes three symbols in the Cirth (11 strokes total, in real life I should be able to do this in about a minute) for the word tys and 3-foot-tall trees suddenly spring up everywhere, making it hard to move.

Re: Wizard Academy Forum Game

At the target practice, he also wins a prize.  First he casts a deflector (like what he used at the duel with the headmaster), and then he casts a light spell into it, which splits up into several parts and hits all the targets dead-center.  One beam also hits Shade's cooking pot and deep-fries the chicken (or whatever it was).  smile

Judge 2:This is the perfect combo of spices and magic I have ever tasted! 10!

It helps cook the chili! not deep fry it!

and as for a game it would work better as an MMORPG.  Too bad Scratch doesn't support multiplayer...

Deep fried Chili?

Sounds like something they'd have at the Calgary Stampede.
