Is it just me or is Google Chrome slower?

I find that IE7 is faster at loading Scratch pages, than Google Chrome. Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing this?

I've never tried out Google Chrome, but I've noticed that some browsers seem to be faster at loading pages than others.
