it would be cool if u could make multiplayer games on scratch!

There are some games that are already like that, in which two people use the same keyboard, and each player use different key command (example: player1 uses the arrow keys, and player2 uses keyboard keys 'W''A''S''D'), and this concept can always be extended to more than one player. Of course, perhaps you had a different idea in mind when you are referring to 'multiplayer game'?

Online isn't nearly as important as sprite duplication. Most people can barly make a local multiplayer game and making an online multiplayer game would probably be too hard for 99% of scratch users.

I've started work on an engine for multiplayer on scratch, you would have to download it though and run a python script while playing.

Yes, it IS the same.
Multi = Many, more than one.
Multiplayer = More than 1 player.
Multiplayer Game = Many players play the game.
Multiplayer games don't have to be online to be Multiplayer. You're refering to Online games which are somewhat different.

Maybe for a Multiplayer Server...

You can use chalkmarrow's Snyff. Or Phyton if you're experienced enough with it.

But the Snyff thing helps you connect two computers together at the same house, doesn't it? I think what hirandomperson is saying is that there should be some kind of block in Scratch 1.4 that would make it possible to create multiplayer online games (MOGs) like Club Penguin or World of Warcraft. That would be perfect for my Warrior Cats RPG.
