sound editer

there should be a sound editer in scratch, otherwise when you put in song, they take up WAY too much space and is a problem for me since then it tkaes a long time for things to upload to the site. also there should be a sound creator so you can use instruments and sounds to make another sound without needing a microphone

Re: sound editer

If your computer has Garageband you can use that instead of a Scratch sound editor: just import a song into Garageband, and you can choose to edit it in any way you want--its great for making purely instrumental pieces from songs with vocals.

Re: sound editer

Garageband is for Mac OS X.  Windows-people may have to make do with Audacity, which works on both Windows and Mac OS X.
