This question is for the mods that can see IP addresses. I want to know if the user doodynew has the same IP address as doody. Can you tell me?

Ummm wasn't the original ip banned? You can't make an account from a banned ip.

See, now we're getting into one of those "Public's right to know" versus "Privacy of the individual" issues. Even if I were to release that information, you still wouldn't know if the two accounts were being run by the same person or different people.

I think you should treat the account on it's own merits...what he/she makes and says...just like every other person on Scratch. Ultimately, it's really not important whether it is the same person or not and you (and I) can never know for sure.

Just a FYI, changing your computer will not get you around a IP ban. You'd have to change the IP adress, which involves configuring your modem (changing the MAC adress, Google it).

I don't think so; she was IP Banned, and that means no "timer". It lasts forever.

@Mickey: You can't get back on scratch unless the scratch team lets u. IP bans go until the scratch team deletes them themselves

I think there is a static and dynamic IP. Static IP never changes, so I assume that this is the one they ban. A dynamic IP can change at any time.

I think its the same person either changed ip or diff computer there drawing talent appears the same but I never look at her stuff anymore cuz i feel betrayed by the real doody account the original one.

PEOPLE! I know the answer to this.

HER Doody account was IP banned, so she made doodynew, which is also her. A little while, the Scratch Team unbanned her and she is now making 5 trillion projects a day. You can upload projects when there is an IP ban, but can't access your computer....

Oh yea, guess who wrote this, cause it might be a person related to KingOfGames and just went here and checked out the website. Now, bye.

I don't think this information is correct anymore. There was a bug that allowed projects to be uploaded by IP banned accounts but that has since been fixed.
