I dont think this is right spot to post this...

Dear Scratch Users,
I'm done with scratch, or at least making projects. I have made one last big game, thats both fun and teaches a lesson about water. It'd mean a lot if you gave me feedback.                              http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/bosox397/569201

What is an "activated account"?  I'm not sure I've seen that term used in Scratch.  Where did you see it?

Usually, you will see those words applied to a computer account (or a bank account?) that takes some time to set up before it can be used.  Once it is set up and ready to be used, it is "activated".

Whoa that was fast. You already moved it. I have a feeling an activated account on scratch was seen by adityasm9 when someone was talking about this person getting banned and could like the scratch team please unban them and activate their account. idk, im just guessing... smile

Re: What is an activated account?

Well, I guess the scratch team must send you an email with a code and you type it in to prove you are real and not a spam account. That is what most websites do anyhow ~ smile

Re: What is an activated account?

Whenever you register a Scratch Day account, the people who run Scratch Day look at who you are and why you want to host Scratch Day. Then they activate your account, before this you can't login.

Actually, I wouldn't be one to judge but I think that "All About Scratch" is a good place to keep this thread.

Anyhow, I think they mean by an "Activated Account" is an account that is... well... activated.

There may be several accounts in which have not been activated.
For example:
*You are trying to make a user on a website*, *You fill-out the information*, *You wait for a Confirmation E-mail*, *You find it*, *You activate your account*.

Basically, an Un-activated Account is simply an account in which is not confirmed.

That's my guess.
