Variables don't remember their locations

When I setup some variables on the screen, then hide them before saving my project, they do not remember their location or visual style when the project is loaded again.

Thanks BoltBait, for taking the time to record your experience with this problem.  It is a known bug and hopefully will be fixed in the next release.  The work-around (as you have probably already discovered) is to make sure your variables are showing when the project is saved.

Sure, but then my generated thumbnail is ugly. *sigh*

Do we have control over what image is used for the program thumbnail?

Yes, by manipulating the screen the way you want it to look, then save. This can make your project look more appealing on the frontpage.

Re: Variables don't remember their locations

But, you are still limited to having your variables visible if you want their locations remembered.

Re: Variables don't remember their locations

I finally got this to work the way I wanted by using a screen sized sprite.

You can see it here: Hunt the Wumpus

Thanks, everyone, for all of your help on my first project.
