If you can fix this Scratch Team, do you have to? Nah, just kidding. Do whatever you want.

Cool but it is not just for Scratch . . . you can use it with any website. I made myself have 790666444 messages! (I think I set a record).

More like a javascript trick than a hack.
It is really difficult to hack well made websites. I hacked into the admin pannel for my school's year book website. The url had user=1 in it so I changed it to user=3 and I got into their admin pannel![]()
Never pass variables using the url bar if it is something important like that. They also didn't properly chmod their files.
Probably they left global variables on, or using old version of PHP.

Lulz . . . this isn't hacking Scratch. Actually, all it is is editing the website of your choice for your session (not permanent, only you can see the changes). Type
javascript: document.body.contentEditable = 'true'; document.designMode = 'on'; void 0
in the URL bar, and press enter. Voila! Editable!
what is a URL bar?

How do you do it?

Well, if you want to do it as a professional, I strongly recommend trying out Firebug (Firefly on Opera) - it lets you alter the source code without changing appearance of the website (plus it helps me a lot when developing my webpage).

Just look at the original post. Go to the front page when you have a message, type the code in the first post into the URL bar and press enter. You can edit the front page then. After that, you just change the number of messages you have. Simple as pie (but not pi) .

I knew that already but it's good info for people who don't know how!
Thank you, for sharing this with the scratch community!
