I might suggest additional categories for young scratchers who are not so much into games, for example:
Best Original Artwork
Best Animated Story
Most Educational Project
Best Remix
Best Stop-Motion Project

Excellent suggestion. I hope you guys consider those categories. I'd also suggest putting a link to this forum thread in the notes of the "advertisement" project. How are you picking the judges? Do you have a system for how the judges will cast their vote?

Hmmmm..... Let's see. I'm gonna ask respected scratchers that everybody trusts and looks up to if they would like to volounteer to judge the Scratch Awards. Then those judges will post a comment on the gallery they are judging to announce their top pick from that catagory. If Scratch had PM's we could do it secretly, but we don't.
