Scratch Currency Ideas
I was thinking recently about currency on Scratch and buy stuff for our profiles... like maybe if someone views your project you get 1 Scratch Buck and when someone comments you get 5 Scratch Bucks, and when someone favs it you will get 10 Scratch bucks, and so-on. How do you feel?

This idea was kind of dumped by a lot of people waaaay back in the day. Search for scratch currency and you'll find something

Hmm that Would Be A Fun Idea. 
We Could First Start With Making Scratch Profiles In Projects Then Once The Scratch Team adds it (if they do....) Then We'll Switch On To It I'll Create A Suggestion For More Ideas For The Profile

what would we really use it for? we couldn't use it to access new blocks cause then it would be unfair. so why would we use it?

A long time ago someone suggested it and not many people agreed.
If you don't get many views/comments/favs/etc., you don't get many scratch bucks. And then anyone who doesn't have enough won't get to have the same things the "popular" scratchers do. Then people would get desperate for views and start spamming more. The scratch website is used by schools, too, so this probably wouldn't help.
The whole purpose of scratch is to share your projects, not to get new features/options.
That's just my opinion, anyway.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Agreed. Roblox might be good and all, but we don't need to clone it into Scratch! Plus, people will brag about their "wealth", other people will feel inferior to the other people, etc... it would cause nothing but envy and greed.
