Can someone help me?

I'm trying to download and open a project on Scratch, since it won't load on my computer. First, I hit open (on the box that comes up when you want to download or save anything) and brought me to scratch. Then it said "Could not read: bad header." I tried saving it this time, and the same thing happened. Why isn't it letting me view the project?

That happens when the project you're trying to open was made with a version of Scratch that is newer than the one you have. Try downloading the latest (1.3.1, currently), see if that helps.
