Others have prepared lesson plans and tutorials.  I have not collected                                                              all the pointers from the scratch forums yet, but two of them were

Some schools have informed us that they will begin using the video tutorials in the classroom this semester.

In some cases they have requested to provide them with the video-tutorials on CD. This will allow them not to load the Internet connection in their schools, especially when each student accesses the lectures individually.

If you prefer to access the lectures locally, please send us the name and address of your institution and we will mail you a CD. You can install them in as many computers as you need.

We have been asked also to provide formal Lesson Plans. We will have these ready in the next few days. We will post this information as well.

I have also put together a website that teaches Scratch.  It doesn't have much, but it does explain, thoroughly, how to make a game.

Well, if you want to write a tutorial, you may, but other than that I don't need any help (yet)

The learscratch.org site has been reorganized and complemented, and includes three courses specially designed for their integration into the classroom.

The Lesson Plans for these courses are available in the Resources Menu.

The first course, Scratch 1, Getting Started, includes of 8 Lessons.

The second course, Scratch 2, Step-by-Step, includes 24 Lessons organized into 5 Units.

And the third course, Scratch 3, Scratch Projects, includes 32 Lessons organized into 7 Units.

Yes, and the community seems to be doing a rather excellant job of it. It is not at all difficult to find learning material now for scratch. The more we push this site to our peers, the better it can become.

We have updated the redware Scratch learning materials to make them more accessible for 8-12 year olds. Please take a look at our Scratch training videos at http://www.redware.com/scratch/lessons.html and let me know what you think.
