Macs come with java. I always play games online scratch. now every time I try to play a game it says I don't have Java. Any Ideas to why it says this?

I know, this is happening to me to and only started today... There used to be a link that said "I'm sure I have the plugin, show me the project!" but it's gone and I'm forced to download everything. I hope someone fixes this.
