The scratch team chooses the projects that get featured. And I have to agree that some bad projects are getting featured while some of the best projects on the site never get that many views. But if you can find one (that isn't yours), you can go to this topic to suggest that it should get featured.

Thanks for asking! Some of the guidelines for featuring projects are here:

Some members of the Scratch Team, myself included, feature projects based on those and other parameters. Finding projects to feature is a really hard thing to do because as you know there are a lot of great projects. It's not only about complexity but also about diversity.
Please note that YOU, the community, get to decide what is on the front page already by clicking "love it", viewing, downloading and remixing projects. Also, everyone is on the front page for a few minutes on the "newest projects" section :-)
Not satisfied with that we also ask for your input. Please check that topic hmwilson suggested. I hope you get to suggest your favorite projects there too.
In the future, I hope you can feel free to express your opinions without feeling worried about being harassed. If someone ever harrases you please contact the Scratch Team and we'll try to find a solution.

This isnt always true. I have people from the Scratch Team that give me good feedback, thats it. If there are no problems, why isnt it featured? If there is something that could be made better, s/he should state that.

Giving good feedback doesn't necessarily mean that the project should be featured :-) As I said in my post, there a lot of good projects but we also look to feature a diverse range of creators and types of projects. There isn't a clear rule on what will be featured. We also hope people wouldn't obsess with getting their projects featured :-)

Yeah. I only got one project on featured in my scratch history, and it was my Fortune Teller and with the fact that I deleted it, its not really that good. Though I would be happy if my other projects got featured, I'm fine for now.

Sorry if it sounded like i was. But how about that the scratch team tells us what we can do to make it featureable. (Don’t bother giving me the link to the 'propose projects to get featured' post, ive read all of them)
