@1rainbow1 - What would we do with points?
Offline
thats a difficult one. well i think it would just show what an experianced scratcher you are. for example you had 20 points that would show you havnt been on scratch that long but if you had 200 you would be experianced. so basicly its just for pride.
Also we have a contest every week 4 example and thats how we build up points.

Maybe you could use the money or points to buy stuff to personalize your My Stuff page. It goes along with another topic in the Suggestions forum.

Maybe for every Love-it you get, you get an extra, say, 10 points. Along with winning contests and such.

Please don't bump old threads.
I don't really think points would be a good idea - this isn't Newgrounds, it's an educational website where an user's goal shouldn't be getting popularity. It might be nice to have an official contest, although you can make projects for the Scratch Design Studio if you feel like making stuff with a certain theme.

Not a good idea, sadly. I played a game called Platform Racing 2 where the levels were made by YOU and therefor prone to mistakes. The players tried every way possible to get past the trap or whatever. If they are so crafty, why can't people create mutiple accounts and love it spam on a project?

What does platform racing have to do with it? And they have a list of maps that work...
