variables, sliders etc.

Hi

I have a problem with a program I'm making to do with the sliders for variables and their positions. whenever I save the program and load it again they revert to normal variables, and get put in the corner, which is a little annoying.

Does anyone know how to stop the program doing this, or if its just something everyone gets and I'll have to live with it?

Thanks,

Jez

Re: variables, sliders etc.

Always SHOW the variable before saving to prevent that.

Re: variables, sliders etc.

Ah, right that explains things, thanks. Sorry for the repeat thread...

Someone in the thread you linked to mentioned using sprites to cover variables so they wouldn't show up at the wrong moment or be hidden (and loose their position data on saving). This would solve my problem, except I'm not sure how to do it, I can't see any way of changing which layer my variables show on - they always seem to be above all of my sprites.

Layering has always seemed a bit of a mystery to me in scratch, any ideas?
