What does a red outline around a script mean?

When I try and start one of my scripts, it has a red outline around it instead of a white one and wont work. Is it telling there is something wrong with the script?

Re: What does a red outline around a script mean?

yeah, that's what it means.  It could be that you copied the script from one sprite to another, and the new sprite doesn't have access to a variable that you used in the script (that's usually what it means for me....)

I don't know what other situations may cause the red line, though....

Mike.

I've had it occur when accidentally trying to divide by zero.

I think it has something to do with the numbers and if it can recognize them or something. And Mayhem, only Chuck Norris can divide by zero...  cool

No problem. Just make sure when you ask a question, it's 10 months in advance  smile

Yeah, it usually means that there is an error someplace and it is impossible to run the script.
