They can be difficult to change...they have to be the right format, and not too big. You also need to clear your browser's cache before you will see the changes. Here is a forum article that might help you out...it talks about Gallery pictures, but I think the rules are the same for your user pics.

I think what animegrrl000 is trying to say is that none of us cant change our user pic, and its the right format and size and everything......we've tried several times. Can you please see whats wrong? Plz help us!! Thanks! I hope u understand!
