Scratch has been running really slow on me for a while now. It's probably because I have a lot of scripts. Usually when I try to edit them I have a 10-20 second pause while I wait for the cursor to show in blocks such as the repeat block. Does anyone have any tips for making it run a little bit faster?

Keep your scripts short. My Scratch starts to bog down if the script gets too long. If I need to work on a long script, I find it best to tear it apart into smaller pieces, make the edits, then stick it back together.
