I am very happy to officially announce that Paddle2See and Jens are now administrators of the Scratch website along with me and the rest of the Scratch Team.
They have been very active members of the community for quite a while, always helping others and making great contributions as moderators. We met both of them during the Scratch Conference and we were very impressed with their passion for Scratch and their excellent ideas of how to improve it.
Thanks to both of them on behalf of the Scratch Team at MIT!

Congratulations!
But... What does it means? Are they now deleting projects? Please explain
Thanks everybody for the good wishes!
Now, to answer JSO's question: Yes...as Administrators, we have the ability to remove inappropriate projects and (if warranted) the users that created them. It is a big responsibility and we will try to exercise it only when necessary to keep Scratch a family-friendly place.

Yes, Paddle2See's project, Input Text With 1.3, really helped me because I was searching for how to input text in Scratch, and now it has really helped in my Warrior Cats RPG that I'm making!

Paddle2See has been really helpful! I'm glad that he has become administrator of Scratch! I have never heard of Jens, but I think they have both been brilliant contributors and that they certainly deserve to go up a level!

Never saw this till now - you guys are just awesome. "Administrator" is a great title but does not nearly describe how invaluable you two are the Scratch community.
Great job/Scratch On.
