Re: Editing Scratch Source Code

The source code is written in Squeak Smalltalk. If you have any questions about the language (I know I do), ask Jens; he's Scratch's in-house Squeak guru.

Re: Editing Scratch Source Code

I, Tried jens tutorial. I sucessful made a background flip right and left, i then try to make it flip up and down i haven't done this yet but i going to say that i suceed, On doing that then i try to make this hifde background. I copy the hide code for sprite put it on to the Hide block, then make the another hide block go to the background, and then i tested it and it turn broken, That where i decided to leave it there yesterday.

<when green flag clicked>
[Flip Block]
<end>

and then the block end in a error when you test it.

Can you upload a project with all the blocks you have made? (like the flip background block for example) I'm making a project with all the "unoficial" blocks people have made.

Now you all wanna die like movie stars, you say.  As you jumped from the height of our cutting room floor.  While above us, glowing, exploding.  Our dreams burst forth in light and death!  Hold me and tell me we'll burn like stars!  We'll burn as we fall! Watch as city lights...transform us!
