I live in the same state. The only person I know around here who (used to) scratch. It would really be cool if there would be cool if they did have a meeting down here.

We wish that we could do these everywhere!    We're trying out this smaller event as an experiment for Boston-area Scratchers. We hope that what we learn from this event will help us help others organise their own events. Hopefully there will be an event closer to you soon!

Thanks for putting this announcement on the site.  This coming Tuesday and Wednesday I will be presenting at the Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference on using Scratch to enhance mathematics and science instruction at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.  I will inform all of my attendees of this Meet-Up and encourage them to attend.  As for myself, I will be back in NYC by Saturday.
