Scratch

Ok, I'm making a really awesome game called Ninja Quest, and on the title page there is a credits button, so when you click on that, the credits start to scroll to the top of the screen, I have made it so there is a very well hidden line of black, that, once the words hit, they dissapear, however, it looks weird that they just vanish, is there any way I could make it fade away into the top?
