Adding standard JavaScript syntax, PHP, Java classes to Scratch

There should be blocks standard with the download that include:
Control
onmouseover (would be so very useful!)
onmouseout

ARRAYS!

SAVE FILES!

Other features that are availabe in programming languages, coded into blocks!
Sorry, I'm going to make the list longer but when I started the thread my mind just blanked out...

Re: Adding standard JavaScript syntax, PHP, Java classes to Scratch

You already can do all those things except for save files. Arrays are called lists in scratch.

Re: Adding standard JavaScript syntax, PHP, Java classes to Scratch

Wow...thanks! I figured out the onmouseover and onmouseout by myself later after starting this thread, but I didn't know what lists do. Anyway, save files should be relatively easy to program, but would require creating something on the users computer...
Would be sweet if you Scratch devs could do it. Then, add the ability to export to SWF format, and you'll have something that can compete with Adobe Flash CS4!

Well...maybe not, but it would be cool.  smile
