I have known some really good scratchers while spending my time around here. Im not trying to brag or spotlight myself but I would put myself up there with some of the best. I make alot of my own sprites that are grade A, material I know advanced programming, I know how to input sprites that are off sheet the right way. I animate sprites very smoothly, But back on track WHO DO YOU THINK ARE SOME OF THE TOP SCRATCHERS?

Under 18, I would say that JSO is one of the best at programming in scratch. He knows how to code nicely and his projects are neat looking and well made smile

Hmm never heard of JSO I remember bluestribute though he had some pretty good stuff. Im gonna have to check out JSO's stuff.

How would you define the "Best Scratcher"? Is it the person who can program the best or the person who tries his/her hardest to program no matter what? Is it the person who offers the best constructive criticism and help to others? Is it the person who creates amazing projects, but programs not for the sake of learning to program, but for popularity and fame and will do all in his/her strength to get that? Is it the person who is always kind, polite, and respectful to everyone, no matter who they are?

I would say that andresmh is the best ScratchR because he is really nice. For me, it's like he goes to everyones projects, not just the projects that are well-known. He gives a chance to every scratcher and gives them courage to do the right things. HE HELPS!

I think what sarge981 meant ' the best scratcher' was a member using scratch.

Though I do say that paddle2see from the scratch team and JSO a forum moderator is the best I have heard of.

Some of the best Scratchers I know of are Archmage, Paddle2See, and on Squeak Smalltalk, Jens (he has made really useful expansions for Scratch, such as BYOB and Chirp. He also made the original lists system).
