By passwords, veggie means the MySQL password for instance.
Also, I find that MAMP is a better package for Mac. I don't have as much experience with web servers on Linux but I have used LAMP and it's ok.

1. They would then be called "mods", they would be Scratch 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, etc.
2. They were ordinary Scratchers, too. They're not more special or anything. I'm one of them, even, and I'd say I'm ordinary. We all are, but we're all special.
3. So your friends would be the moderators? I wouldn't exactly say that's fair.

What does MAMP offer over XAMPP?
Everything is self contained so you could have 10 servers on one computer even, all running different versions of PHP, different plugins, etc.

Thanks for this scratchers. However things just changed. Unfortunately I've decided to wait on webservers. I'm still looking to re-build the 1.4 site before 3.0 (yes3.0) comes out. At this stage of my programming/knowledge of this stuff is too low. However still think I could learn html5 easily and successfully run a web server. I've gotten all the help I need and I could've started about nxt wk-end. I appreciate all the hep I received and you will receive credit if I make it in the future. However there is another reason that I cannot tell you that convinced me not to start this project. If I tell you it will destroy my reputation. I believe in the future I will make this. For now, 2.0 is going to take over. I will still stay in scratch when the community comes out. I still cannot promise anything will be successfully made, but that is also worth a try. I also know what I use at this point. I will bookmark all the links the helpful scratchers have me.

veggie, developer123, jji7skyline, and hardmath123. Thanks for your help.
More will be credited soon if there were more helpers.
firedrake: Pointless argument, but I would lead the site on my own first, then I might've been able to make a team of various scratchers. That's I I would've started the site now.
This as now come to a close. If this is revived by me once again then I will post a forum topic saying "the return of 1.4" something like that. For now moving on to 2.0. For me, I'm returning to TigerBuild. Also I will use 1.4, TigerBuild, and 2.0.

This whole topic. I didn't do all that and gather all that information for nothing. I WILL re-make the 1.4 site eventually, no promises, but I'll try.
